I’d just like to say, that because you read a book before someone else, it doesn’t make you a ‘better fan’ or that you like it more. That’s bullshit and it’s why people start to hate fandoms. If someone likes something the same as you, then embrace that and welcome new people to the fandom. It’s when people become the Hitler of a fandom that it gets annoying, and it ruins it for everyone.
